What's the craziest story you heard that turned out to be true?

 My girlfriend is a urologist, and one of her young female patients experienced severe pain when she had to pee.

A cystoscopy revealed that there was a large polyp with a high degree of calcification in her urinary bladder, and it was almost certainly cancerous. So an operation was planned right away to remove the tumor from the patient’s bladder.

When the patient was opened up though, something entirely different than was expected was found in her bladder: the tumor was not a tumor at all, but a foreign object.

And the unidentified not-so flying object actually turned out to be an IUD — an intra-uterine contraceptive device — and this particular IUD had migrated from the womb to the bladder, meaning that it had somehow penetrated through both the uterine wall and bladder wall before it got stuck in the patient’s bladder.

There, it calcified and became a tumor look-alike.

Our immunity system hates foreign objects (such as piercings and the like), and through a process called “migration,” it tries to remove such objects from the body, but this was one of the rarest and most extreme examples of this very mechanism ever.

This particular case had a silver lining though —

The patient was cancer-free.

Are women comfortable taking their clothes off in front of a male doctor or gynaecologist?

  They don’t exactly ask us to strip u know, they tell us how to prepare for examination and then leave the room for 2 mins. We lie down and lose just the bottom and undies and put the sheet which they give us over our legs and spread them for doctors to examine. I know that the doctor’s going to look and maybe even touch the vagina ultimately so why bother putting on a sheet and stuff, well idk but it is more comfortable like that. I usually prefer female doctors but i have been examined by males too quite a few times.

What’s something you haven’t told anyone until today?

  Once I went to the beach with my college friends. I could not swim so I was sitting outside and watching the rest of the people playing in the water. Then a friend of mine came and grabbed me by the hand and pulled me away. Despite my refusal, he poured water on me and said don't swim, you can come here and sit. I then sat on the middle shore and started playing a little with those people. During all this, it came out of my mind that I am wearing a white top with only samiz under it. After a while my fate was something like this - When the rest of my friends later told me that everything was visible, which was like a loss of my life.
